I'm working on part of Charity's origin story and this popped into my head.
It makes a lot more sense in context and if I explain the scene it would a huge spoiler for the book.
I made up the child's name by mixing "Neno" which is the Galician word for child (I think) and "Von" which is German I think and means of. and "la croix" which is French for the cross.
So his name means: child of the cross.
